Nintendo unveiled the Pla圜hoice-10 in August 1986. On single-monitor systems, a button would switch between gameplay and the hint screen. On dual-monitor systems, the gameplay timer, game select, and hints for the game being played are displayed on the second monitor. Additionally, the player does not have to play a single game until it is finished - the player can switch to a different game at any time so long as the time limit has not been reached. Players can play any of the games available on a specific Pla圜hoice-10 system within a fixed time limit.
